Full time role in Whitby focuses on managing information management projects. As a Records Analyst, you will be responsible for compliance with the Corporate Classification Scheme and assessing records' value for various purposes. Key tasks include developing departmental policies, coordinating training programs, and providing guidance on best practices.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting the organization’s information management initiatives and driving compliance efforts forward. Key Responsibilities:
Assess records for legal, administrative, and archival value
Develop, review, and maintain departmental IM policies
Prepare project plans and statistical reports on initiatives
Create manuals and training materials for best practices
Manage relationships with employees to support IM efforts Requirements:
Diploma in Records and Information Management or equivalent experience
Experience with MS Office and records management software
Robust knowledge of government guidelines, especially MFIPPA
Proven project management and analytical skills
Ability to lift records storage cartons up to 35lbs Utilize your skills to enhance information management compliance at the Region of Durham.
