Position Overview

JOEY South Common is looking for a polished and energetic Restaurant Staff member to help deliver the kind of service that keeps guests coming back. This role is suited to someone who enjoys a busy dining room, takes pride in presentation, and can move naturally between guest service and team support throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and create a positive first impression
Assist with orders, menu questions, and general guest requests
Deliver food and beverages with attention to timing and presentation
Confirm orders are accurate before serving
Communicate dietary requests and special instructions to the appropriate team
Support servers and kitchen staff during high-volume service
Clear and reset tables while maintaining a polished dining area
Keep service stations stocked, clean, and organized
Assist with POS transactions and payments when required
Respond professionally to guest concerns and seek management support when appropriate
Help with opening, closing, setup, and cleaning duties
Follow restaurant standards for food safety, sanitation, and guest service

Qualifications
Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience is preferred
Confident, friendly, and professional communication style




Strong attention to detail and personal presentation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant
Ability to manage changing priorities during busy service
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and service standards
