Duties
Provide exceptional guest service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Prepare and handle food according to safety standards, including basic food prep and sanitation practices
Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cashiering and giving correct change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a robust willingness to learn is valued
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
Experience in food handling, serving, or hospitality roles is advantageous
Ability to work well in a team workplace and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
