The Opportunity

Dilawri Group in Ontario is activelyseeking a Parts Advisor to join the opening team at Kia Vaughan.

Compensation: Annual salary of $37,500 plus performance-based bonus.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Advisorwill assist retail, wholesale, and internal customers in identifying, sourcing,and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories. The successfulcandidate will provide knowledgeable and efficient service while supportinginventory accuracy, departmental organization, and overall dealershipoperations.

Responsibilities

- Assistretail, wholesale, and internal customers with identifying and selectingthe correct parts and accessories.
- Provideaccurate product, pricing, availability, and ordering information.
- Advisecustomers about available accessories,



promotions, and relevant productoptions.
- Receiveand process parts orders by telephone, email, retail counter, techniciancounter, and wholesale account.
- Accuratelysource parts using catalogues, manufacturer systems, and dealershipsoftware.
- Pickand fill parts orders from available inventory.
- Prepareorders for shipping, delivery, or customer pickup.
- Receiveincoming parts and verify shipments against packing slips and purchaseorders.
- Stocknew parts promptly and maintain an organized and accurate inventory.
- Processreturns, credits, warranty parts, and special orders in accordance withestablished procedures.
- Notifycustomers and dealership departments when ordered parts are available.
- Maintainclear and accurate records of transactions, orders, and inventorymovements.
- Monitorback orders and follow up on outstanding parts requests.
- Workclosely with Service Advisors and Technicians to support efficientrepair-order completion.
- Assistwith regular bin checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.
- Maintaina clean, safe, and organized parts counter, storage area, and workenvironment.
- Buildand maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, anddealership team members.
- Followmanufacturer requirements, company policies, and all applicable health andsafety procedures.
- Performother duties required to support Parts Department operations.

Qualifications

- Previousexperience in an automotive dealership Parts Department is preferred.
- Automotiveparts, retail parts, or inventory experience is considered an asset.
- Wholesaleparts experience is considered an asset.
- Experienceusing CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, or a comparable dealership managementsystem is preferred.




- Familiaritywith electronic parts catalogues and inventory systems is considered anasset.
- Strongautomotive parts and product knowledge.
- Excellentcustomer service and communication skills.
- Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail.
- Abilityto accurately manage multiple orders and competing priorities.
- Goodtime-management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortableworking in a fast-paced environment.
- Abilityto work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Positiveattitude and willingness to participate in ongoing manufacturer anddealership training.
- ValidOntario driver’s licence with at least three years of licensed drivingexperience and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Abilityto perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing,bending, reaching, and lifting parts.
