Lead innovative design projects as a Substation Protection & Control Engineer in Canada. Oversee high-voltage substations' protection systems, ensuring quality and project deliverables are met seamlessly. This role emphasizes project leadership in the development of protection, control, and metering systems for substations, ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV.
You will coordinate technical designs and oversee project execution, including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and engineering document preparation. Your leadership will guide junior engineers while managing project scope, schedule, and budget effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and coordination of protection systems
- Own project deliverables ensuring quality and alignment
- Develop and review one-line diagrams and schematics
- Provide technical oversight on engineering work
- Participate in factory acceptance testing and inspections Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
