The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is hiring a Casual Lunchtime Monitor. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act quickly in emergencies. You will supervise students during nutrition breaks, assist with lunch containers, and maintain cleanliness in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise students during nutrition breaks and recess
• Assist students with lunch container opening
• Wipe tables and ensure hygiene
• Support arrival and dismissal of students
• Oversee students in kindergarten classrooms
Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to act quickly in emergencies
• First Aid and Behaviour Management Systems training is an asset
• Submit a Police Record Check for Vulnerable Sector
• Complete Ministry mandated and Health and Safety training
