Job Description : The Executive Assistant is directly accountable to the Deputy Chief Medical Officer - Saskatoon of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and provides executive and project support in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining the office of the Deputy Chief Medical Officer. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the portfolio and Physician Executive team. This position ensures that processes are in place to support the efficient and effective operation of the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of executive administration support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a collaborative and co-operative manner, with members of executive Physician team to assist in accomplishing the provincial health authority’s objectives. This position will research, analyze and develop policies, briefings and proposals as required. Collaboration, coordination, project management/organizational and communication is key to this role. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff in the Physician Executive Team Office and, in their absence, may provide support services the CMO and other members of the Physician Executive Team.
