Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinetry and millwork components, ensuring a smooth, durable, and visually appealing surface. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a energetic environment where craftsmanship and precision are valued.

Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Operate power tools such as drills and sanders safely and effectively during finishing processes
Use hand tools for detailed touch-ups and surface corrections as needed
Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery like cranes or forklifts




Maintain cleanliness of work area to promote a safe and efficient workflow
Inspect finished products for quality standards, ensuring consistent color and finish application

Requirements
Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, or spray equipment preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes is a plus
Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and mixing paints or stains
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to support efficient workflow
Knowledge of welding or machining is advantageous but not required
Ability to operate forklifts or cranes is a plus; certification is preferred but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity and safety awareness
