At Care at Home Services, we provide a positive and supportive work environment that offers a unique chance for RN's to work with patients providing end-of-life care while providing support to their families.
We offer training to ensure that the successful applicant is confident in providing and monitoring pain management, alleviating physical symptoms, educating patients and their families on symptom management, and providing emotional support.
As an RN you must be able to assess a patient's condition and provide medication and comfort measures as needed. You should also be comfortable working independently in a home care setting, possess solid critical thinking skills, and be able to drive to the client's home.
To qualify,
you must have graduated from an approved nursing school, have current practicing registration with BCCNM, maintain a valid CPR C and First Aid certificate, and have previous palliative experience or previous acute care experience.
The shifts are 12 hours in duration – 8am to 8pm days or 8pm to 8am nights
Salary:
49.00 to 51.00 per hour
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $51.00-$53.00 per hour
