Part-time or Full-time Associate EMDR Therapist
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a therapist to join our team in Belleville, ON, and I thought this might be the perfect place to find the right person.
You are an RP or MSW who is EMDR trained and good at what you do. You want to focus on your clients without the isolation of going it alone or the stress of running everything yourself.
What This Role Offers You
Independent contractor arrangement, you run your practice your way
60/40 split — you retain 60% of every session fee, somewhere between $75 and $117 depending on where you are in your career (Intern, Registered, or Senior tier)
We cover your Psychology Today listing so your marketing pipeline starts on day one
Referrals to build and grow your caseload, active marketing, community partnerships, and clinic website referrals
Dedicated admin support with scheduling, billing, and documentation
Regular team meetings. Peer support, clinical case discussion, and real collegial connection
Full clinical autonomy. Your modality, your style, your schedule within clinic hours
Relaxed, friendly, and professional work environment in Old East Hill
What This Looks Like Day-to-Day
About 15+ clients a week, at times that work with your schedule
Mostly in person, with virtual as an option too — this is not a full-time virtual position
You'll see adults 19+ and couples; experience with families, children, or adolescents is a strong asset
You'll bring your own training in evidence-based modalities, ideally EFT, EMDR, IFS, or other experiential or somatic approaches
What We're Looking For
Registration in good standing with CRPO (as an RP) or OCSWSSW (as an RSW holding an MSW)
Professional liability insurance
Proficiency with Google Workspace an asset — training provided
Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
Training and clinical experience in EMDR is a must; additional training in EFT, IFS, or other experiential or somatic modalities is a strong asset
Experience with trauma-informed practice, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or complex trauma
Interest in contributing to community-based programming in Hastings County
About Quinte Psychotherapy
We're a small, attachment-focused private practice serving the Quinte region and Hastings County, with a specialty in trauma-informed care, couples work, and evidence-based modalities including EFT, EMDR, and IFS.
We're in the process of building a close-knit team that values consultation, connection, and professional growth. Our culture is rooted in attachment and family systems theory, and our promise to clients is simple: we move closer, we hold space, we show up.
Schedule and Location
Initially Part-time: starting with approximately 15 hours per week and open for the position to grow to full time if that is what you want
Mostly in person at our Belleville office (Old East Hill), with virtual sessions available
Flexibility within clinic hours; you set your own schedule
Accommodation available upon request at any stage of the recruitment process. We welcome applications from therapists across diverse backgrounds and experiences.
