As a Automotive Design Release Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. Job Title: Automotive Design Release Engineer
Location: Windsor, ON - Hybrid
What's the Job? Lead the design and development of transmissions, driveline systems, and components
Collaborate closely with teams such as CAE, NVH, durability, vehicle dynamics, packaging, and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
Develop and execute validation plans, including component/system bench and vehicle testing, to verify performance and durability
Identify and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
Create, implement, and manage engineering best practices, including core DFMEA and DVP documentation for driveline systems




What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive engineering, focusing on transmissions and driveline systems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues and optimize designs
Knowledge of transmissions and driveline components such as Power Transfer Units, Rear Drive Modules, Gears, Bearings, and Torque Converters
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset
