Position Description: i4Geo is seeking a Graduate Assistant (Non-Teaching) to support the Institute’s communications, web presence, outreach, and events. Responsibilities:
Assist with website updates, content creation, and general web maintenance.
Create and manage content for i4Geo social media channels.
Assist with planning, promoting, and coordinating workshops, seminars, and other events.
Develop promotional materials, presentations, and event communications.
Assist with event registration, logistics, photography, and post-event communications.
Support other i4Geo communications, outreach, and related activities as needed.
Qualifications:
Current University of Lethbridge graduate student.
Robust written communication and organizational skills.
Experience with social media and digital content creation.
Experience or familiarity with website editing and content management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools is an asset.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Interest or experience in GIS , remote sensing, geography, or related fields is an asset.
