Join our team as a Pool Closing Labourer and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and productive winterization of swimming pools. This energetic position involves preparing pools for off-season closure by performing a variety of maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping tasks. Responsibilities
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators to assist with pool cover installation and removal.
Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment, including mechanical components and filtration systems, ensuring everything is properly shut down and stored.
Support general landscape maintenance activities such as trimming, weeding, and debris removal around the pool area.
Follow safety protocols during all tasks, including proper handling of tools and machinery to prevent accidents.




Document completed work and report any issues or repairs needed for future reference.

Requirements
Previous experience with construction, landscaping, or pool maintenance is preferred
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small construction machinery such as excavators confidently and safely.
Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and basic plumbing or electrical systems is advantageous.
Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining records of work completed.
Valid driver’s license required; experience operating excavators or similar machinery is a plus.
