We are a growing therapy centre in Barrie, Ontario providing OAP-funded developmental and occupational therapy services to children and families. We are seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to conduct virtual assessments as part of our clinical team on a full time basis.
This role is fully virtual — no in-clinic hours required for assessment work. You will conduct structured occupational therapy assessments via telehealth platform, document findings, and collaborate with our clinical lead and supervising OT on care planning.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments via secure video platform
Complete assessment documentation and reports within established timelines
Collaborate with clinical lead on findings and recommended service plans
Maintain strict client confidentiality and professional documentation standards
Coordinate scheduling directly with families for virtual sessions
Manage a full caseload of virtual assessment appointments
Requirements
Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
Must be listed on the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Approved Service Provider list, or eligible/willing to complete OAP provider registration prior to start
Experience conducting assessments with children and families
Prior telehealth/virtual assessment experience strongly preferred
Reliable high-speed internet and a private, confidential space for virtual sessions
Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
Strong written documentation skills; comfort with digital charting tools
Calm, steady presence with strict professional boundaries in a virtual care setting
