We are seeking a skilled Parts Technician to join our team. As a Parts Technician, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement, inventory, and distribution of parts and supplies. Your role will involve data entry, systems management, negotiation, and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
Perform data entry to accurately record parts inventory and maintain up-to-date records
Utilize systems and software to track parts orders, shipments, and deliveries
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms for parts procurement
Conduct demand planning to ensure adequate stock levels of parts and supplies
Coordinate with the supply chain team to procure parts in a timely manner
Source new suppliers and evaluate their reliability and quality of products
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries and fulfilling orders
Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify appropriate parts for specific equipment or machinery
Making and repairing hoses
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role as a Parts Technician or in a related field
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in using systems and software for inventory management
Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
Knowledge of demand planning principles and practices
Familiarity with supply chain processes and procedures
Excellent sourcing skills to identify reliable suppliers
Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
Mechanical knowledge to understand various parts and their applications
