Duties
Assist pharmacists with preparing prescriptions, labeling medications, and managing inventory stock levels
Support medication administration processes by verifying prescriptions and maintaining accurate records
Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, updating patient information, and managing pharmacy documentation
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and patient safety
Stay informed about medical terminology and pharmacy procedures to enhance service quality
Skills Knowing the pharmacy software Fillware is a big plus as well!
Prior experience working in pharmacy or healthcare environments is highly desirable
Proven pharmacy assistant experience or related certification is a strong plus
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is beneficial
