EIPS is recruiting an interim, full -time (1.0 FTE) French Immersion Division 1 Teacher working at two dual-track schools - 0.5 FTE atGrade 2 French immersion at Ardrossan Elementary and 0.5 FTE at Grade 1 French immersion at Heritage Hills Elementary. Schedule TBD and worked out with the successful candidate.
Ardrossan Elementary serves approximately 600 students in kindergarten to Grade 6, with 29 teaching staff and 11 support staff. The school is located in Ardrossan, AB, approximately 10 minutes east of Sherwood Park, AB.
Heritage Hills Elementary serves approximately 525 students in kindergarten the Grade 6 , with 24 teaching staff and 10 support staff . The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB.




Commencing September 21, 2026 and ending June 29, 2027

Qualifications: Excellent French verbal and written skills
Bachelor of Education degree
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Effective organization and classroom management skills
Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel protected, supported, and challenged
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice
Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
