Lead Indigenous-focused housing initiatives as the Island-Wide Development Manager at the Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness Society (ACEH) in Victoria, BC. Drive culturally supportive programs and community engagement across Vancouver Island.
This full time, temporary position offers robust leadership in the CAIS program while supporting teams in Victoria, Port Alberni, and Port Hardy. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in program development, budget management, and community collaboration to advance ACEH's vision. Your role is pivotal in preventing homelessness through culturally aligned strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the CAIS teams in multiple locations
• Manage contracts, budgets, and compliance
• Lead data analysis and program evaluation
• Foster partnerships with Indigenous communities
• Support knowledge development and resource creation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Experience in community development and housing
• Knowledge of Indigenous organizations and culture
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Ability to travel across Vancouver Island
