Plant Controller
CPA | 5+ years of manufacturing experience
Your Role Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be a financial partner to the plant and a key player in decision-making.
Responsibilities Supervising and participating in the monthly closing process and the preparation of financial statements;
Analyzing financial results and explaining variances;
Conducting cost analyses and contributing to cost control optimization;
Ensuring the integrity and reconciliation of inventory and production data;
Supervising an accounts team payables and receivables;
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures;
Collaborate closely with operations teams and various corporate departments;
Participate in the improvement and optimization of processes and the integrated system.

The ideal candidate I am looking for someone who:
Holds a CPA designation and a university degree in administration, accounting, or a related field
Haves 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Enjoys understanding the figures, but especially what they reveal about operations
Posses strong analytical skills and sound judgment
Is comfortable collaborating with various stakeholders and communicating with operational teams
Proficient in Excel (especially pivot tables)
Knowledge of an ERP system - Microsoft Dynamics AX, an asset;
Is fully bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written the written part.
