JOB OVERVIEW
The Project Estimating Analyst provides maintenance data and estimating support to the Business Development & Maintenance group. The Project Estimating Analyst is responsible for reviewing customer requirements, historical maintenance data, work scope assumptions, labour estimates, material considerations and project inputs to develop accurate preliminary estimates. The role also supports on-going analysis of estimate versus actual performance to improvefuture bids, projectspan timeplanning,and maintenance execution forecasting.

This is a new position that requires a proactive self-starter who can help develop the role, build estimating practices, and maintain a keen interest in learning about aviation and aircraft maintenance operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Initial Project Estimate Creation

Review work scope document to establish the basis for the initial project estimates

Uses historical maintenance data to develop preliminary cost and span time estimates





Work with data teams to integrate AI models into existing software and decision workflows

Coordinates with the MRO Estimator-Planner to validate estimate inputs

Project Planning Analysis & Reporting

Provides data analysis & reporting to support customer maintenance projects

Provides support to project planning activities and processes

Provides post-project analysis & reports to support continuous improvement initiatives

General Data Analysis & Reporting

Performance analysis & reporting of maintenance inspection data to support quoting & planning

Analysis & reporting of materials usage, tooling and equipment in support of other KF departments

Data accuracy analysis and correction

Data file updating as required

Compiles standard and non-standard reports for KF and Customers

Documentation & Administration

Ensures documentation is completed accurately

Ensures accurate records of work and filing for future reference

Provide support and assistance to other departmental activities where previous data analysis & investigation is a key element to the future successful management of a maintenance or modification package

Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in an analyst role,



data management role or similar experience

Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, specifically Excel

Familiar with digital business application tools such as Power BI, QlickSense, Document management, MS Visio, MS Project and MS Office Suite.

Demonstrated use of integrated business ERP, electronic data management, and data base systems

Hands-on experience building practical AI and machine learning solutions

Self Starter

Proactive problem solving and advanced trouble shooting skills

Proven verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service orientation

Strong planning and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail

Able to work productively in a fast-paced high-pressure, deadline driven environment

Can work independently as well as in a team environment

Experience in Aviation is an asset

SALARY
The wage band is level 7, $63,400 - $79,200. The expertise and technical skill level of the candidate is assessed during the selection process for placement within the band. Note: The salary range maximum signifies full job knowledge.
