Wells Gray Outfitters – Clearwater, BC Wage: $23 per hour Overview Wells Gray Outfitters is Clearwater’s locally owned sporting goods and outdoor store. We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, customer-focused, and community-minded individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. This is a full time, year-round position (approximately 35–40 hours per week). In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the store. You will work both independently and as part of a team, helping ensure smooth store operations and a positive experience for every customer. Successful applicants will also be trained to perform basic bicycle maintenance, skate sharpening, and a variety of other equipment services. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, an active interest in sports and/or outdoor activities, and the ability to represent Wells Gray Outfitters as a positive ambassador in the community. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service by engaging with customers and assisting with product selection Expertly fitting and adjusting specialty sports equipment Process transactions and handle cash accurately using a point-of-sale (POS)
