Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on product selections, including wine, spirits, and other beverages
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transactions
Maintain accurate inventory levels through merchandising, stock replenishment, and product displays
Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Follow all legal regulations related to alcohol sales, including verifying IDs and age restrictions
Ensure the store is clean, organized,
and well-stocked at all times to promote a positive shopping setting
Receiving and dismantling of product deliveries. Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs.
Experience
Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising practices is advantageous
Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
