Join the City of Thunder Bay as a Municipal Enforcement Services Officer II, focusing on animal control and municipal by-law enforcement. This role involves responding to all animal control service calls while participating in wider enforcement of municipal by-laws, including parking and traffic regulations.

You will conduct investigations, document incidents, and collaborate with other officers to promote compliance throughout the community. Your duties will facilitate effective communication and education around by-law adherence to enhance community standards. Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and document all animal control incidents
Enforce and monitor compliance of municipal by-laws




Prepare necessary legal documents under the Provincial Offences Act
Participate in community education and enforcement operations
Conduct patrols to observe compliance with traffic and parking laws Requirements:
Diploma in law enforcement or related field
Minimum one year MLEO experience required
Proficient in office software and documentation skills
Valid Class “G” Ontario Driver's License mandatory
