Responsibilities
Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and customer preferences
Ensure all meat products are handled safely, stored properly, and maintained at optimal freshness
Package meat products efficiently while adhering to food safety regulations and proper labeling protocols
Maintain cleanliness of work stations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health and safety guidelines
Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about different cuts of meat, and provide exceptional service




Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product quality
Support inventory management by rotating stock, recording product usage, and notifying supervisors of low supplies

Experience
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat preparation, is highly preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Hands-on experience with meat cutting tools such as knives, saws, and grinders
Familiarity with packaging methods for perishable food items
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a quick-paced environment
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
