Responsibilities for Airport Terminal Security Guard
Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Checking Bags of the Passengers before departure
Making the Passengers aware about the protocols at the premises
Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterrent, andreport writing/note taking.
Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis
Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors
Qualifications for Airport Terminal Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid Manitoba security license
Valuable verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
RAIC would be an Asset but not Mandatory
This position requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency due to airport clearances
Leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a stressful and quick -paced environment
