Responsibilities
Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
Support food preparation activities, including chopping, mixing, plating, and portioning meals
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
Help with serving food efficiently and courteously to guests or front-of-house staff
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Qualifications
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene protocols in the kitchen
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Basic physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting moderate loads, and performing repetitive tasks
