Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of "Bread-and-Butter" Dentistry procedures
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and organizing materials efficiently.
Update dental radiographs (X-rays)
Manage patient records accurately using Tracker electronic health record systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
Qualifications
Valid license as a Dental Assistant with state certification or registration.
Proven experience in dental assisting
Proficiency in Tracker Dental Software to manage patient records efficiently.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication.
Experience with CAD technology for imaging or designing dental appliances is a plus.
Robust communication skills to serve as an effective liaison between patients and the dental team.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
