The Role We are seeking an Accountant with a strong focus on full cycle accounting to join our agile team. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced, client-focused environment while contributing directly to our operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
In this on-site position, you'll work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for AP activities such as daily credit card transactions and payment reconciliations, charter and private flight billing, and project/job costing. You will leverage your familiarity with Sage 50 and expertise in accounting fundamentals to meet tight operational and reporting deadlines while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Financial Controller, the individual will provide support to the accounting team to meet operational and reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Receive and record vendor invoices for the daily credit card transactions
Contact vendor for any discrepancy
File invoices and receipts
Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices for flights, maintenance work orders, and other services
Prepare detailed reports related to AR activities and reconcile discrepancies
Communicate with clients in a professional manner
Project and Job Costing: Update monthly project costings for flights and other operations.
Track and report on direct and indirect costs associated with projects
Other projects as assigned from time to time
Who You Are 2+ years of accounting experience
Diploma in accounting, finance, math, or a related field
Expert knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in full cycle accounting is highly desirable
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Working knowledge of Sage 50 or Simply Accounting preferred
Self-motivated with a desire to continually learn and grow
