The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and US individual tax returnsReview Canadian and US individual income tax returnsOffer day‐to‐day expatriate tax advice, including queries on items such as individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reportingConduct additional expatriate tax consulting duties, researching income tax issues and reviewing memoranda or client letters in the area of executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate tax mattersWork closely with the Partner responsible for the practice to develop and support the teamExplore future business opportunities with partners across Canada with respect to their clientsEngage in business development initiatives to further grow the practiceHow do we define success for your role?You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect, and CollaborationYou understand your clients' industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you aspositive, professional, and delivering high‐quality workYou identify, recommend, and focus on effective service delivery to your clientsYou share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains,
