Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our energetic food service team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, cooking, and food handling tasks. Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal production
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards at all times
Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining areas, ensuring presentation meets quality expectations




Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies; notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working setting for all team members

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is highly desirable
Experience in meal preparation, serving, or working in a busy kitchen setting will help you succeed in this role
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
