ICE Islamia is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher for Grades 5–8. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise in Science, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student success in a faith-based learning workplace.

Responsibilities
Teach and deliver engaging lessons in Science courses aligned with the Ontario curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, report cards, and instructional materials.
Utilize educational technology and Microsoft Office tools to support learning.
Support students academically and socially while promoting critical thinking and strong communication skills.
Maintain classroom management and foster respectful student behavior.




Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student achievement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
OCT certification preferred.
Robust knowledge and teaching experience in Sciences at the Middle school level preferred.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong classroom management, organizational, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology.
Commitment to academic excellence, character development, and Islamic values.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
