Duties
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including washing vegetables, peeling, and organizing ingredients for cooking
Clean plates, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items according to safety standards
Support the kitchen staff during busy service times by providing timely assistance with cleaning or prep work




Dispose of waste properly and manage recycling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent contamination or accidents in the kitchen

Experience
Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
Experience with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or food prep tools is a plus
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols is beneficial
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude are essential for success in this role
