Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated Kitchen Crew Members to join our agile team! In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing and serving high-quality food while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties
Assist in food preparation by assembling ingredients and cooking menu items according to company standards
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness
Cook menu items efficiently to ensure quick service during busy periods
Support food service by plating dishes and ensuring order accuracy
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Follow all safety protocols related to food safety and kitchen operations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and excellent customer service
Skills
Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Solid teamwork skills with a positive attitude
Basic understanding of meal preparation and food industry standards
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supporting overall restaurant operations
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate
Fergus, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
