Lucha Libre Taqueria & Barra Mexicana is a vibrant and energetic Mexican restaurant inspired by the flavors, street food, and culture of Mexico. We are passionate about delivering authentic food, great hospitality, and memorable experiences in a fast-paced and fun workplace.

We are looking for a Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and enjoys working in a busy kitchen. Availability during weekdays and weekends, including morning and evening shifts, is required.

Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and company standards
Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping vegetables, and portioning ingredients
Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, sauté stations, and convection ovens
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout the shift
Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory procedures
Label, date, and properly store food products
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements
Experience working in a professional kitchen setting




Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift 40+ pounds
FOODSAFE Level 1 certification is an asset
Spanish speaking is considered an asset
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Experience
Culinary school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset
Previous experience as a Prep Cook, Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or similar role preferred
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure during busy service periods

Compensation Starting at $20.00 per hour, plus tips.
