Role
We're looking for an experienced Journeyman HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our founding team. You'll handle preventative maintenance, modifications, installations, and service calls for commercial clients, working on a wide range of mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance visits per client service agreements
Diagnose and repair all types of commercial mechanical equipment
Assist with scoping, estimating, and planning new work or projects
Install new HVAC systems in accordance with construction plans and specifications
Ensure installations and repairs meet environmental and refrigerant-handling requirements
Complete accurate work orders, service reports, and equipment documentation
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
Identify, report and recommend additional service or repairs, during site visits
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and follow all safety protocols
Respond to occasional after-hours or emergency calls as part of a shared on-call rotation
Requirements
Red Seal Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic required
Minimum 5 years of commercial service experience
Class 5 license with a clean drivers abstract required
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across varied equipment types
Comfortable working independently and in a team setting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must possess a comprehensive set of personal trade tools
Gasfitter A ticket considered a robust asset
