We are seeking a licensed Optician to join our team at our Kanata location. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional vision care and customer service. A valid Ontario Optician license is required.
Duties include
Deliver customer service that focuses on the customer's unique vision needs and lifestyle requirements
Manage Store Operations
Recruit, train, develop and supervise store staff
Provide skilled customer service and personalized frame styling recommendations
Take measurements for fitting of eyewear and perform adjustments as needed
Sales and payment processing including insurance billing
Dispense eyewear and contact lenses according to prescription specifications
Create lab orders for customer purchases and follow up on order status
Inventory management
Qualifications:
Current Ontario Opticians licence required
Minimum 2 years of optical retail experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
