Lead technology at Beacon, a Toronto-based fintech, as a Hands-On Engineering Manager. Drive end-to-end software development and mentor a diverse team of engineers.

With a focus on fintech services for NRIs, you'll take complete ownership of the technology function. This role requires proactive leadership and technical expertise, balancing hands-on contributions with strategic oversight. You will work closely with Product and Design to create effective solutions and build a culture emphasizing accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end software project development and delivery
• Lead and mentor backend, frontend, and QA engineers
• Stay hands-on with coding, architecture, and debugging




• Collaborate with Product and Design on scalable solutions
• Ensure reliability, security, and operational health of systems

Requirements:
• 7–8+ years in software engineering
• 2+ years in engineering management or leadership
• Hands-on experience with Go and/or Java
• Robust understanding of SQL, AWS, and microservices
• Proficiency in DevOps and AI tools
