In this full-time position, you'll take charge of the hydrotechnical practice, lead Dam Safety Reviews, and manage water balance assessments. Your expertise will direct critical flood analyses, dam breach assessments, and support comprehensive mine water management strategies. With a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, you will ensure the highest standards of practice while mentoring upcoming engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Dam Safety Reviews and inspections
• Direct inflow design flood and breach assessments
• Review surveillance data and prepare emergency plans
• Manage mine water balance and tailings facility hydrology
• Conduct flood hazard and risk assessments
Requirements:
• P.Eng. registered or eligible in BC
• Degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering
• Minimum 8 years hydrotechnical consulting experience
• Robust dam safety and hydrologic modelling skills
• Class 5 BC driver's license and travel willingness
