Your role: Review complex Canadian individual and corporate tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
Review and approve technical research and tax planning recommendations for private companies
Deliver high quality tax planning, services, and advice
Work closely with Tax Partners and other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements
Lead special tax engagements
Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential
Build and manage client relationships at a senior level and identify client service opportunities
What you bring to the table: Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent




Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master of Tax Program
7+ years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty
Excellent technical knowledge of Canadian tax related issues and of GAAP requirements for tax provisions
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Caseware/Caseview, TaxPrep, and tax research software
Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management and organizational skills
Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members
Ability to effectively pivot between tasks, prioritize and manage deliverables to meet conflicting deadlines

Salary Range: $120,000-$170,000
