This role demands a strategic leader with a strong background in enterprise-level planning, advanced regulatory expertise, and a proven track record of driving positive organizational change. The successful candidate will be tasked with modernizing regulatory practices, leading a multi-year transformation initiative, and ensuring that the regulatory framework meets the current and evolving needs of the industry. Candidates for the CRO position should have at least 10 years' of senior leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked at the executive level of a professional regulatory body. A background in legal or regulatory affairs, particularly within a regulated industry, is essential. The role requires a leader with exceptional strategic planning abilities, a deep understanding of corporate governance, and the capacity to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. The CRO will be expected to maintain a strategic framework of adherence to legislative requirements, ensure the transparency and consistency of compliance practices, and drive initiatives that promote innovation and efficiency in regulatory processes.
