ZMP Solution Services Inc. is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional Support Worker / Developmental Support Worker (DSW) to provide person-centred support to individuals who may require assistance with daily living, community participation, and maintaining independence.

Responsibilities

- Provide respectful, person-centred support with daily living activities.
- Assist individuals with personal care and mobility as required by the assignment.
- Support participation in community, recreational, and social activities.
- Encourage independence, choice, dignity, and personal well-being.
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour support strategies, and workplace procedures.
- Assist with meal preparation and other appropriate household tasks.
- Provide companionship and positive emotional support.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
- Complete required documentation and communicate relevant information professionally.
- Follow health, safety, privacy, and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education or experience in Developmental Services, Social Services, Child and Youth Care, Personal Support, or a related field.




- Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, mental health needs, acquired brain injury, seniors, or other support needs is an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, respectful, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset and may be required depending on the assignment.
- Vulnerable Sector Screening may be required where applicable.
- Ability to work adaptable shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or overnight shifts depending on the position.
