Support Worker Fort St. James/Tache, BC Nezul Be Hunuyeh is an Indigenous Child & Family Service Agency serving the communities of Nak’azdli Whut’en, Binche Whut’en, and Tl’azt’en Nation. Reporting directly to the Cultural Supervisor, the Support Worker will play a pivotal role in providing support for traditional practices, and language to the children, youth, and families that NBHCFSS serves.

Responsibilities - Plan and assist with cultural activities, workshops, and community events - Work with families, Elders,



and community partners to deliver programs - Build strong, trusting relationships with the families and communities we serve - Help with transportation and day-to-day program coordination - Keep accurate records and reports in line with agency standards Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of Dakelh culture, history, and traditions - Warm, relationship-focused communicator – comfortable working one‑on‑one and in groups - Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team - Proficient in the use of computers (email, word processing) - Indigenous ancestry is an asset Requirements - Applicants must agree to & provide an acceptable Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Clearance - Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License & provide an acceptable Driver’s Abstract
