Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
- Handle food ingredients safely, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Serve customers with friendly, attentive service, explaining menu items as needed
- Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver consistent quality
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks





Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of sushi making techniques and Japanese cuisine fundamentals
- Experience in food service roles that require serving customers directly
- Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred; certification in food safety is a plus
