Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the seafood processing plant
Maintain and repair processing equipment, machinery, and facility systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Assist with plumbing, welding, carpentry, and other general maintenance work as required
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and secure work setting
Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial or commercial maintenance is preferred
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Welding experience is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious
Experience in a food processing or seafood processing facility is an asset
