MSCP is seeking an experienced Laser Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role requires hands-on laser welding experience and will support MSCP's growing advanced fabrication and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and adjust laser welding equipment.
Perform accurate laser welding on components and assemblies.
Select and adjust welding parameters based on material, thickness, and application.
Perform MIG, TIG, and conventional welding as required.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
Fit, assemble, fabricate, and inspect components to specification.
Identify weld defects, fit-up issues, and process improvements.
Participate in QA/QC and continuous improvement activities.
Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.

Qualifications
Previous hands-on laser welding experience is required.




Journeyperson Welder certification or equivalent experience preferred.
Robust MIG/TIG welding and fabrication experience.
Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
Strong understanding of weld quality, fit-up, and material preparation.
Strong attention to precision and workmanship.
CWB certification considered an asset.

Position Details
Location: Streambank Facility – Sherwood Park, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
