We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of the hotel property to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Maintain outdoor areas including parking lot, walkways, and landscaping (seasonal)
Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies
Assist with renovations, painting, and minor carpentry work as needed
Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Adaptable availability, including weekends and holidays
