As part of the Justice Information Management System, you will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to design enterprise data warehouses. Your responsibilities will include defining architectures, performing data profiling, and ensuring data quality aligned with project goals. A solid grasp of Kimball dimensional modeling and SQL is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and manage data architecture principles and standards • Develop current and future-state architecture documentation • Ensure alignment with Government of Alberta standards • Provide guidance for project data architectures • Identify opportunities to improve data reuse and governance
Requirements: • 5+ years defining data architecture • Solid experience with data warehousing principles • Proficient in Kimball architecture techniques • Solid SQL skills and cloud computing knowledge • Understanding of public-sector data requirements
