PALS is seeking a Family Support Worker to deliver critical services to families at risk of child welfare involvement. In this full time role, you will assess family needs, provide interventions, and facilitate access to community resources. Your work will directly impact the well-being and security of families facing challenges like poverty and violence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intensive weekly in-home support to families in need
• Gather client information to address risks and needs
• Develop individualized action plans with clear goals
• Conduct educational sessions related to family dynamics
• Maintain accurate records and report on client progress
Requirements:
• Degree in social work with one-year experience
• Experience with urban family challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Valid Saskatchewan driver's license required
