The Saskatoon Downtown Youth Centre Inc. – EGADZ requires Childcare Workers interested inCasual shiftsproviding a safe supportive environment with the Baby Steps Program for the child, while still offering mothers support, structure, and guidance in their attempt to regain custody of their child in care. Shift work involves daytime, evenings, overnights, and weekends.Baby Steps believes that the parent must be involved in case plans involving their children and their own personal needs to have long‑term success. Baby Steps must follow the Youth Centered Continuum of Care when dealing with the parent, involving buy‑in, citizenship, and the need for government and non‑government agencies to work together in a real partnership teaching various skills that provide concrete outcomes for mother and child.EGADZ is an inter‑agency, non‑profit organization whose purpose is to provide services for hard‑to‑serve youth in Saskatoon with the mission to encourage and support them to make choices that improve their quality of life.QualificationsEarly Childhood Education or Post‑Secondary education in the human services field,
