Working under the Senior Manager of Wellness Programs, the Program Support Worker collaborates with various stakeholders to implement and evaluate initiatives across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region. Your role will primarily involve supporting mental wellness, cultural connection, and youth Arctic sports initiatives. This position requires coordination across community programs, providing logistical and administrative assistance for crucial wellness projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate youth Arctic sports activities
• Support evaluation of community wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with Elders and local partners
• Assist in logistics for mental wellness programs
• Help implement the ISR Suicide Prevention Strategy
Requirements:
• Minimum two years in community program coordination
• Experience working with Indigenous communities
• Knowledge of Inuvialuit culture and history
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
